This crank cocking device for Guillotine M and X crossbows is ideal if you have arm pain or prefer not to use a manual cocking rope. This cocking device is compatible with EK Archery Guillotine M and X crossbows.
To use the crank, first install the supplied adapter on the crossbow stock and attach the crank to the mounted stock rail. Then press the aluminum lever to release the ratchet and pull the hooks underneath the crossbow to catch the string. It is important to route the middle of the crank cable through the channel behind the grip to reduce the effort needed for cocking. Next, check that the crank cable is properly positioned on the crossbow. Once it is, attach the crank handle and turn it until the string catches and the safety engages (turns green). To release the string from the hooks, put pressure on the crank so you can press the aluminum lever and release the ratchet. Finally, remove the hooks; the crossbow is ready to use.
