The Story of Kodiak

As a little boy, I loved going on adventures, building, and exploring my own world. From the top of my treehouse, I imagined having the entire forest to myself.

One day, my father made me a bow with a simple string and a solid yet flexible walnut branch—one of the best gifts I ever received. With this unexpected weapon, I couldn’t help but see Sherwood Forest around me and picture myself as Robin Hood… But that was also the turning point!

As the years passed, they reminded me of my dreams of adventure and awakened in me a desire to return to my roots and embrace simplicity. I remembered my grandfather, who never parted with his Laguiole knife, his lifelong companion.

I wanted to get closer to the ideal way of life of our ancestors, who lived in harmony with nature.

The creation of this store is a reflection of my philosophy of life—a mix of pleasure, intense sensations, introspection, and a need for independence. I hope you enjoy visiting it as much as I have enjoyed creating it over time.
