The ESEE Model 4 Desert Tan Knife: A Knife with Remarkable Features

The ESEE Model 4 Desert Tan Knife is made from a single piece (Full Tang) of 1095 carbon steel offering a hardness of 57 HRC. This steel is easy to sharpen and has properties that make it very solid, even indestructible. Its blade is 4.6 mm thick and 11.6 cm long. It is covered with a Traction Coating type finish to ensure protection against corrosion. Its handle is made of OD Green Micarta and ensures an excellent grip in all weather conditions thanks to its slight roughness. This handle, which is virtually wear-resistant, requires no specific maintenance. You have the possibility to remove the scales for general maintenance of your Esee 4. With a finger choil at the base of the blade (Finger Choil), the thumb naturally finds its place on the spine for detail work.
