Wildsteer Knife with WILD0102E Extractor: a knife equipped with a quality sheath
Forged from a single piece of stainless steel, the Wildsteer is robust and perfectly balanced. It can withstand significant flexing and striking, making it a perfect outdoor knife for
bushcraft. Accompanied by its
fire starter (not included), this fixed blade knife is the perfect companion for
survival in the wilderness. The high-quality finish of the handle and its sheath lend nobility and elegance to this outdoor tool.
A particular and practical use
The
Wildsteer knife with extractor has a
tanto blade 11.5 cm long. It is made of
Z50Cd13 stainless steel with a hardness of 55-56 HRC. Let's focus on the blade, which has a thickness of 4.5 mm at the tip and 7.5 mm at the deburring notches. Indeed, depending on the part of the blade, the sharpening angle will not be the same. On the main edge, the angle is 25° for heavy-duty work. For finer cuts, the 15° angle at the tip will be more suitable. The leather handle has a striking pommel at its end.
An ideal knife for bow hunting
It is clear that it will be a great ally for archers practicing hunting. Equipped with the extractor, you will articulate it using the anchor point and cradle located at the guard of the Wildsteer. This way, you can easily extract arrowheads stuck behind the bark. If the arrow is too firmly immobilized, you can prepare the extraction by incising the wood with the tip of the knife.
