Mechanically, the Explorer Recruit XP features several systems designed for dependable shooting. Patented Rope-Hold grooves allow easy cocking, and the adjustable buttstock customizes length of pull for any shooter. The Metal Injection Molded (MIM) trigger delivers a smooth, crisp release, while the Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) system protects the crossbow from accidental dry firing. The Soft-Lok floating bristle arrow retainer and pass-through foregrip ensure secure arrow placement until release, while the aluminum flight track ensures consistent accuracy. The crossbow is also compatible with crank cocking devices for effortless cocking.
