A 40 m confirmation is recommended, and the speed ring lets you fine-tune the calibration at that distance if needed. This scope covers a speed range of 250 to 450 FPS (80 to 130 m/s) to match a wide variety of crossbows. When zoom is used, the FPS speed setting is disabled; the 1.5x to 5x variable magnification remains fully available to adjust optical precision to the scenario.
